Q31:

Under high pressure and intense heat, graphite, the most stable form of pure carbon, changes into the substance commonly referred to as diamond and remaining this way whether or not the heat and pressure are removed.

  3. remaining as such whether or not
  4. remains in this way although

D/E实在没啥区别嘛，是说D比E表达得更清楚点吗

thus是副词。修饰remain。而划线部分需要说明的是状态，

D E的意思上有差别

D的in this way表明石墨以钻石的方式一直存在，暗含不会转变成其他物质的意思

E的remains thus的主语是graphite,意识是石墨会留下来，暗含的是位置不会发生变化或者石墨不会消失的意思

所以D的意思更准确一些

我感觉问题不在thus，而在于even和when,首先even是表示强烈的语气，根据忠于原文不应该添加，还有就是原文应该是一个让步状语从句，而不是E中的时间状语从句。

嗯，做多了之后发现，很多时候，把句子多读几遍从句意上就能判断出对错。THX!

1.although一定有问题.在这句话中没有用让步句的道理，这里强调的是一种situation。

When 的用法之一是used to mention a type of event or situation when talking about what happens on occasions of that type

When lead is added to petrol, it improves the car's performance.

2.另外,副词thus的含义之一就是in this way. 在这个意义上，两者没有大的区别； 既然如此，能用一个词就不必三个词词嘛.

3.even 表示强调,可以理解为"即便", 没有问题

LZ原来的选择是对的。

这道题E比D好.
