Q34:

people in France consume fatty foods at a rate comparable to the United States, their（前后不可比，前面是people,后面是USA,也不应该用comparable to ）
people in France and the United States consume fatty foods at about the same rate, the(从和后面一个分句的平行上看，我觉得D更好)
fatty foods are consumed by people in France at a comparable rate to the United States’s, their（一样前后不可比）
the rate of fatty foods consumed in France and the United States is about the same, the（前分句前后可比且从句之间非常平行）

有没有人觉得这道题考了平行呢？即Although the rate ....is.....,death rates .....are.

我觉得正确答案B和我的答案D的差别1）主动被动；2）平行不平行，似乎D更好一些

答案：B

A选项前面是people in France，后面是the United States，比较对象不对等。C后面单独使用了’s的省略结构，省略对象不清楚。D同一个率不能说相同，逻辑错误。E的of后面people consuming fatty foods是个罗嗦的表达方式。
