consider的用法

consider大致有两种含义。含义不同，用法有别。现归纳如下。

一、 consider作“考虑”解，常用于以下句型：

1． Consider+名词/代词/动名词。

You’d better consider my suggestion. 你最好考虑我的建议。

I’m considering going abroad some day.我一直考虑有一天出国。

2． Consider+从句或“疑问词+不定式”。

Have you considered what he suggested?你们考虑他的建议了吗？

We must consider what to do next.我们必须考虑下一步要做什么。

我们经常看到的：Considering + n.,+句子就是“考虑到。。。。，（因而）。。。。”的意思。

二．Consider作“认为”解时，常用于以下句型：

1． Consider sb./sth+.(as)+形容词/名词。其中，as可以省略。

We consider him honest.我们认为他很诚实。

At first they considered me as a doctor.起初他们认为我是医生。

2.consider+sb./sth.+不定式。其中，不定式通常是to be(可以省略)或其他动词的完成式。

We consider this matter to be very important.我们认为这件事很重要。

We all consider him to have stolen the bike.我们都认为他偷了自行车。

3.consider+it+形容词/名词+不定式短语。

We consider it hard to study English well.我们认为学好英语很难。

I consider it my duty to help you with your studies.我认为帮助你学习英语是我的职责。

4.consider+宾语从句。

We consider that the music is well worth listening to.我们这首音乐很值得一听。

Regard的用法

n. 关心, 注意, 尊敬, 尊重, 致意, 问候, 关系

vt. 看待, 当作, 重视, 尊敬, 关系

针对consider，其用法总结如下：

1。regard作动词时，永远是vt., 所以后面直接接n.

regard + n. 尊重。。。，涉及到。。。。

regard n.(A) as n.(B) 把A看作B

A be regarded as B A被看作B

2. regard 作名词，表“关于，关系”

as regards + n. = concerning + n. 通常放在句首

in/with regard to + n. = with respect to + n. 可放句首或句中

以上两组都表示“关于。。。”

综上所述：

当都表示“把A看作B" 时，区别在于，consider A as B 中的as 经常省略，而regard中的as不能省！
consider可以接从句，regard不行
consider还有“考虑”的意思，think about sth. carefully
regard可以表“关于”，主语可以是物。consider的主语必须是人。

同意 Manhattan上consider加as的用法是错误的

嗯，og13-119上说when consider means think of or believe after careful deliberation,it does not require as or any other expression before the object.翻译过来应该就是consider当认为的时候

还有regard + n as adj 也是可以的
Some anthropologists regard the early hominids' manner of walking as being less efficient than in modern human beings.
(A) as being less efficient than in
(B) as less efficient than it is in
(C) as less efficient than that of✅
