1.        Although Napoleon’s army entered Russia with far more supplies than they had in their previous campaigns, it had provisions for only twenty-four days.

(A) they had in their previous campaigns

(B) their previous campaigns had had

(C) they had for any previous campaign

(D) in their previous campaigns（E）

(E) for any previous campaign

E选项中完整的比较是否是than (it had)for any previors campaign? 但之前没有出现明确的动词，为何可以省略比较部分的主谓？

这题比较Tricky，考主语前后单复数对应，这里army,后面的it，都表明than后主语/所有格需单数，ABCD都错了。
