觉得C的that are ＋adj是典型的错误类型怎么读怎么不通，还有一个so that感觉也是很怪，没有表达目的的感觉

E选项that不能跳跃修饰techniques么？which就出现过几次跳跃修饰的例子。考到了我还是坚持E

不过希望有大牛出来给出最终的解释啊。

名词＋介词短语＋定语从句，定语从句可以跳过介词短语，修饰介词短语所修饰的名词；好像一般是這麽用

so that 如此。。。以至於。。。

我觉得C是对的，E这里的that有点指代不明啊，可以指PLANT或者前面的事物。。。

并且E应该用for sb to do sth才通顺吧？？

又看了一下，发现C的 so that they are没错，因为they指代genetically enhance plants，而这些plants本身的状态就是disease- or pest-resistant，用一般现在时没问题。

E:是个完美的答案. for enhancing...限定性修饰techniques.在这里比to enhance好,用to enhance做目的状语修饰employing. that去修饰中心词techniques.绝对允许的.

D,E 里的 that/which以及 them 都很 ambiguous. C 里的指代非常清晰。我倾向于选 C

the same … that，感觉E是对的
B和C还有不好的就是把so that这种不是修饰的明显是短句放在一个短语引起的短句内，这个好像很不妥，记得OG好像有这样的例子
还有原句是用的using，如果换到句子里，就是using technology used to.就能明显看出C是重复的

GOOGLE上查的，老外做的，感觉不错A & B are out. Starting the sentence with 'employing..' gives the right modifier for the researchers. D is out: 'which' seems to refer to plants. its logical precedent should be the techniques.

E has two problems i guess
- meaning is not clear. you are not applying the 'same techinques for enhancing plants', you are actually 'applying the techniques used to enhance plants in some other field now'. Try reading it again. The meaning changes in E.
- read this 'genetically enhancing plants that make them crop resistant'. It seems to say that the plants make themselves crop resistant. 'that' should refer to 'techniques'

My answer: C

used 这里是过去分词做定语修饰 techniques，和 employing 不重复。

so that they... 前的逗号去掉明确 they 指代 plants，无歧义。enhance plants so that they 的结构清楚表达因为技术强化了植物，使植物抗病抗虫的意思，而避免了 techniques...plants that make them 中定语从句表达的歧义。

而且 the same A that... 结构中 A 应该是一个简单的名词，后面直接跟定语从句 that。如果 A 的成分过于复杂，that 从句的修饰就有歧义了

跳跃修饰呀！。。但是就是又是跳跃修饰，又是指代前面，理解麻烦，但是单独的这两个语法点应该都是对的。。。
