in order to也曾作为过正确答案

with the purpose of 几乎没见过

不定式在这儿有修饰歧义，作定语修饰 object to make 作状语修饰 move to make

for 可以表原因也可以表目的

是不是可以这样认为，表目的首选 to do 当不定式有修饰歧义时用 for 代替

1. TN-24給的answer是A
2. A的them不會有指代問題, 因為如果要指more precise measurements, 那就要用themselves, 不能用them, 所以them只可以指scientists
3. C改變了原意, C在說"scientists hope that they will be able to..."跟more precise measurements無關.

讀時候沒有覺得有such ambiguity.
可是other choices都有同樣的possible ambiguity, 那就是說ETS覺得okay/不是考點

这道题目如果A的will改成to就肯定对了

现在怎么都感觉有些别扭
