请问OG的解释中为什么说BCE中省略may意思就改变了?为什么一定要加may呢?

谢谢mbamom, 可还是不太明白, 有谁能帮忙翻译一下加与不加may原句的意思有什么改变吗?

昨天在白勇语法里看到说:情态动词不能随意替换,省略,填加~~

may表示一个相对于can,could小的可能性,而如果把may去掉,变成了一个事实.改变了原文意思.

不知这样的解释对不对?请老师们指教

也就是说以后做题只要原句中出现了情态动词都不能去掉,

如果答案中去掉了那肯定是改变了原文的意思,肯定是错了.是这样吗?

我只是觉得原句中加不加may意思都是讲的通的.
