答案是C，为什么不选B呢.

我觉得这个句子的主语是“rate”，说"rate is twice as fast..."好像有点怪怪的。

根据时间状语的对称,所以肯定在B和C这两个用in的选项中选.而句子的主语是rate,所以应该是加C选项的结构好.而B是错误的把主语理解成increase了

Parallelism:
