35,but do not denude 和burning不平衡,所以不对.选B.

34. B is the answer. The meanings in both D and E are illogical: in D, the meaning of "the rate of fatty goods" is not correct; it should mean "the rate of consumption";in E, likewise, the meaning of "the rate of people.." is wrong, and it should be "the rate of consumption of the people...".

35. B is the answer. In D and E, the phrases are not parallel to the phrase "but do not denude the forest" in the original sentence.
