我認為是 E。"with the result that...(接完整子句)" is idiomatic, and is a literary usage.

D 有點兒問題。

D 當中的 result，主詞不清楚啊。如果依文法結構看，說主詞是the heavily barbed stinger of the honeybe，語意就不通了。

改变了原句的意思了吧

原句 stinger results fact

C stinger (分词修饰） results fact 没有问题

D stinger stays and results 修饰成分变成为谓语改变意思了吧

E 就更不对了把主句变成附属成分了变成stinger is barbed and stays

原文里的this本意是想指代前面整个句子的，所以错了

不是指stinger results fact吧
