字典上有：
They selected him to be (或for) president.

LONGMAN上还有
select somebody/something as something
York was selected as the site for the research centre.

我的问题是
They selected him as president.
They selected him president.
对吗？

我的一点愚见,鉴于GMAT考察的是最精确的语法.所以as可能在此必不可少.口语或者一般书面没有as也是可以的.
