答案是B，奇怪的是这里的he could not leave，宾语从句为什么没有that呢？

用THAT引起的从句作宾语最为普遍... 在这类从句前的连词THAT，在有些情况下可以不用，例如在BELIEVE，THINK，SUPPOSE，PRESUME等动词后连词THAT常不用，在SAY，SEE，KNOW，HEAR，PROPOSE，UNDERSTAND，BE TOLD等动词后，连词THAT有时用有时不用。在大多数情况下还是以不省为好，特别是在笔语中。

不是说GMAT里的宾语从句后一定要加THAT吗？好像GMAT里许多死规矩在885中都不适用。
我近来被这些条条框框弄糊涂了。

这里没有THAT是可以的，但加上当然最好啦。

我觉得如果加上that句子的意思就变了呀。成为了he was advised that he was interrogated.....

个人感觉这里用的是：advise sb of sth 的用法，即犯人被告知有保持沉默的权力，to remain silent是不定式作后置定语，修饰the right.

至于advise sb of sth的用法的确所见甚少，之所以这么用，我想可能是为了强调犯人所应有的(保持沉默的）权力，而并不仅仅是保持沉默吧，否则就可以改写为advise sb to remain silent.

我觉得此题中told后面最好不要加that，感觉第三个并列部分有被包入that中的可能

1. A b d e 几个答案都有这个问题，除了移植。。。病人。。。
这种毛病，只有c用条件从句来说明除非怎么样，最恰当。

2. D 中identical twins with the same genetic endowment 说有相同排列的除外，就是说还有一些idetical twins 没有相同的基因排列，而c 中用who 来进一步说明，是非限定的定于从句。由此可见，限定性定语和非限定性定语的区别就在于整体和局部的关系—现在分词和that定语从句的区别恰恰就是限定和非限定定语的区别；with属于限定定语。

在第一个told前面省略了was所以后面那个was也应该相继省略
