该题D项,偶看不清结构,请高手指点.

1.it指代不清,排除ABE


2.C中,appears was ...and is...问题大了,一般appear的用法是appear to be 而且C中一句句子中出现两个动词,又是appear又是was。

这个题目的成分我也不太清楚, 我也选了D, 完全是按照appear to be, 还有后半部分看的比较舒服才选的.

谁能告诉我句子的成分呢?

from what?是什么?

appears为什么是单数?,它不是指spears吗?

明白了,原来是倒装了啊

an ancient lakeshore hunting ground       appears to be       from what(=400,000-year-old wooden spears )

我想from what应该是一个介词短语,what相当于the place that 。。。。而且后面给出了地点是an ancient lakeshore hunting ground 所以这里appear要用的单数,后面的  stunning evidence that human ancestors应该是一个同位语,所以应该是完整的句子。

应该不是倒装。

研究者在德国发掘出了400,000历史的长矛从(一个看起来像是古代湖边的狩猎场的地方,狩猎场是一个很极好的证据来证明人类的祖先比之前以为更早的系统的进行狩猎。

from是“从”的意思。what apears to be...所以appear用单数。stunning evidence是单数,很好的避免了可能出现的歧义,做同位语。

stunning evidence 不可能是hunting ground的同位语,因为这不是句子强调的重心,而spear才是这个惊人的发现,而不是打猎场

我认为stunning evidence应该是spear的同位语,所以问题就是,难道同位语可以离得这么远?
还是说evidence指代 整个前面的句子?同位语有这么用的么?

说点愚见吧,what appears to be an ancient lakeshore hunting ground, stunning evidence that human ancestors

from what 中what后面所接的是一个名词性从句,所以用的是陈述句语序,what在名词性从句中充当的是主语的成分

eg.What worries me is how we're going to pay for all this. what引导的名词性从句做主语

stunning evidence that human ancestors 这部分是一个伴随壮语,伴随状语的主语和主句主语的相同,即researchers,

句子的意思应当是

研究者在德国发掘出了~~~~,从而证明了~~~~,伴随状语表结果
