这题网上有讨论，我自己做了小结，不知对你是否有用。

A) compared to的修饰对象不清：blue-collar workers, CEO’s或是419 times；单独看这句CEO’s now earn an average of 419 times more pay than blue-collar workers还是要在blue-collar workers的前或后加助动词do

B) best. 用到了ETS喜欢的表达方式同位语, 参考例句：

“Net revenue for the fourth quarter of 2004 was $347.6 million, a record that compares to $173.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2003. ”

C) as compared to的逻辑主语有问题, 更容易指向CEO’s; 后面表达42 times their pay, the ratio in 1980wordy and awkward。As compared to的参考例句OG CR29：

The number of people diagnosed as having a certain intestinal disease has dropped significantly in a rural county this year, as compared to last year.

D)indicates后缺少that引导的宾语从句。
E)同上
