I guess he read my application material very carefully. And he asked about one project mentioned in my recommendation letter, and that was a course project long long ago, which I totally forgot!!! LOL
The financial issues have been haunting Berkeley for a long time. To make things worse, Berkeley put quant applicant in priority this year. According to my referee, it's very hard to get in. There are like 5 people in front of me...that...you know, is a super long shot.
lol, I have faith that you did well. Where did he get you? Is Berkeley only taking 2 this year? I didn't apply there, but I guess it has something to do with funding being cut from most public universities this year. I know that Wharton is taking 3. I guess Columbia is taking 3 too(got this number from the rejection letter).
It was OK....He got me there several times. 3-4 is of course a large number, given poor Berkeley only accepting 2 this year. LOL
