D对，prep08语法笔记给的解释是本题可以从the kind of curiosity前的the推出后面用so that引导目的或结果状语并不恰当，另外因为前面也没有提到过这种curiosity，应该用定语从句才对。没太明白是什么意思，求指导求指导！

这题排除A选项有三个原因：
1.so that 是表示目的性 I go to gym everyday so that I can be stronger
用在这里变成了 黑猩猩表现出一种好奇心，为的是（so that）让行为和表情通过模仿和练习能够在彼此之间传达
原文中没有表达出这层含义 黑猩猩再聪明也不会主动去发明好奇心吧 这只是它的一种本能

2.from each one to others不合适 from to还是要对等结构的 因此用another 表泛指 和one更对应

3.Manhattan中有一条，如果一个动词有名词形式，就不要用动名词形式

那请问by which引导的什么从句或者说是什么语法结构呢？我读D感觉有点混乱

by which就是定语从句 which指curiosity
介词by在这里翻译为 由于

就是说黑猩猩 exhibit一种好奇心 什么好奇心呢 后面就是修饰它的
看不懂的时候，把which带进去，断开后面这句话，你可以理解为
by the kind of curiosity, new patterns of behavior and expression can be passed onfrom one to another by imitation and practice
这个用which替代 curiosity 就成了 by which ，是后面这句话的状语
跟其他很多 in which，from which一个道理
The court is one of the few institutions in which people have to do some elite thinking.

我觉得因果顺序反了哦
应该是是先有好奇心 由于这种好奇心的存在 才能去模仿和练习 才能传递新的表达方式和行为模式
