今天早上 收到回信 ：
1. It is very possible that all 100% of Shanghai students will continue and complete the MS Financial Engineering degree. We absolutely hope that this will happen. The only things that might prevent this for a student would be the same things that would prevent any other NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering student from completion:
* having poor enough grades to go onto academic probation and then not raising those grades and becoming disqualified (the rules for this are in the catalog, online), or
* disciplinary disqualification, or
* a student choosing to leave the school for some reason
These are all uncommon events. Less than 5% of our students become academically disqualified, cheating is not tolerated and disciplinary punishments are strong but very rare, and very few of our students choose to leave.

2. All the services of NYU are available to all of our students. OPT and full-time employment the NYU Wasserman Center is a great resource for job placement, subject of course to the laws of the United States.

感觉本来想拒了水牛城 从了poly的 毕竟在NYC 但是 看了lz的分析之后又 犹豫了。。。
lz 你有什么建议吗？？ 我是想找实习或工作的。。。但是 水牛城实在太偏了 去NYC要7个小时。。。

Raphael Douady是我很尊敬的一个教授，人很好，学术水平很厉害http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raphael_Douady，Peter Carr都对他赞赏有加，但讲课真的不太行。

没上过Sassan Alizadeh的课， 问了个上过他课的同学，他说还可以。

Nassim Taleb的课很难懂，如果你没有很强的数学训练的话。

Chales Tapeiro讲课不好

Unra不清楚，她的课貌似都是econ方向的

Phil Maymin讲课超赞

成绩是curve的，你是跟同学在竞争
重视程度不清楚

不喜欢给人选校建议，压力太大。
你要做的是认清自己，想想自己要从那个项目中获得什么。
