the new study found we can tell the last of hapiness in marrige  by examing the spouses' automation reaction of their gut
the introduction of the process of the study
the doubt on the study wheather it is self-achieved
the future trend of this study

the distraction may help the memory at times, according to a new study
the process of the study
the possible explanation of the result:the distraction give a rehearsal break for t
the possible next step study

so far, brain is supposed to be no different ogran than lungs
now ,scientists found it can evolve both in celluar and the large-scale,due to the envirment changes
one study:study show the proverity will wreck damage to the cognitive skills in the long run
(blood pressure)
another study:
subject: children aged at 6 to 12
poor--->low nurture skills
clear the factor: stress exposure
lower process ability
but these study is not causation
need more verification from the real world
the further study show the dishearteningly result that the parents usually fail to change the situation for child to rise from the current situation
study:
poverty can damage the decision-making ability in short term
parents may fail to  do something to the environment to nurture their child

-the author describes a recent research that gut feelings are more accurately than the brain to predict the happiness of the marriage. It took 4 year to complete the research, the scientist found 135 couples to do experiments.

time 3 +4 4:42
-explains the results of the experiments. it is better to trust the feeling of gut, even most of people do not believe it.

time 5+6
distraction might enhance memory. the scientist did the experiments about comparing one group of people view video with disturbing picture, the other without these picture. The result of the experiments shows that after practicing several times, people in disturbing group can remember better than people in without disturbing group.

time 7 6:02
-the main idea: the poor environment might influence the development of the brain of children. The form of brain is not only decided by genetic, but also the living environment . The author introduces the research explains the reasons.

[T2]1:31
couples who are after a second-split tend to be understand their partner better.
[T3]1:53
participants who had more negative gut-level attitudes about their partner soon after the wedding saw their happiness drop faster than those who had more positive automatic reactions;explicit attitudes towards their marriage did not correlate with their implicit attitudes.
[T4]0:56
There is therapeutic application for negative gut-level reactions in order to help people see the positive side of the relationship and engage in more constructive behaviour.
[T5]2:17
sometimes when patients get a distraction, they could remember better. a research conducted is that when a facial picture is shown between two scenic images, the patients can remember better than they do not see it.
[T6]1:30
the reason why it works is that the theta rhythms increased during the delay period.
[T7]6:01
MI:children who grow up in poverty might perform less well in problem solving, decision making and have poorer abilities, which might have a long-term effects in their life.
Structure:
1) a research-compared a participant’s family income at age 9 with his or her current neural activity in different brain regions-result:those who grew up in poverty showed increased activity in the amygdala and decreased activity in the prefrontal cortex -reason:a range of chronic stresses impact the development of the brain
2) another research-the relationship between nurturing during childhood and the growth of brain tissue in children between the ages of six and 12-result:the experience of growing up with adults with less nurturing skills effectively set back their mental development a year or two
3)the amount of noise exposure in urban populations is positively related to less efficient auditory processing abilities
4)but  it’s unknown whether the effects are temporary or permanent
5) concerns of poverty leave less extra bandwidth to solve complex cognitive problems and harm long-term decision making ability, but it is short-term.
