Thank you guys so much for putting out a thread like this.  Much appreciation from me personally.  

My question revolves around how many years of working experience issufficient for Wharton.  I graduated from University of Washingtonlast year with Bachelor in Business and now am working at DeloitteConsulting.  The firm encourages us to get MBA after 3-4 yearsbut  I am looking to go in just 2 years.  Is there anyvalidity in that plan?

pretty good experience. as a consultant in a top consulting company, i can always expect to end up with a top business school, and many are company sponsored as well.

as to the working experience, it varies from zero to nearly 20 years. i havea classmates who just graduated from college. but i have to say that is just a small sample. typically students have about 5 years experience and around 27 years old (you can see that from stats).

in all, it is not impossible, just be sure to distinguish yourself and be a good story teller.

London Business School has an MBA programme which accommodates over 300 students from over 60+ countries each year. I don't have any idea on where your friend is studying at all. At LBS, we have 3 students in 2nd year and 4 in 1st year who have mainland China background. Each of us definitely was assigned to very diversified study group with 5-6 different nationalities. This is one of the advantages London has. So pls. double check any informational messages before posting them on this forum. Otherwise, it would be very misleading.
