有人收到类似的邮件不？Fordham突然发过来推荐我读他们的MBA，还说这个分支在美国排16位(http://forum.chasedream.com/Master/thread-683901-1-1.html )。邮件里还说是因为这个项目更合适我的背景才推荐我的。有没有人了解这个项目，这个项目值得一读吗？和UR、UIUC的MSF比起来呢？
This year we received an extraordinary number of high-quality applications to all of our finance programs.  While the Admissions Committee is still reviewing applications, it is clear that there are many more strong applicants than available seats in the program.  In light of this, we have decided to create another valuable programmatic option for some of the strongest candidates (i.e. individuals like you) who have strong quantitative abilities and also are likely to play leadership roles in their respective careers. This decision is less to do with who is qualified for a specific program, such as MSQF, and more to do with making an appropriate match with an individual’s interests, aptitude, and leadership potential with our available programs.  We are writing to you to make you aware of our decision and to introduce you to a new option that Fordham GBA will begin offering in the Fall 2012 Term.  

This new option is specifically designed for students with your educational background, that is, for students who have a strong interest in applied and quantitative finance.  We are launching this program within our MBA degree program designating it the “MBA with concentration in Advanced Applied Finance.”  This new concentration will offer several advanced courses that are not currently offered in our general MBA program.

The Admissions Committee is very impressed with your overall qualifications and would like to consider you for admission to the MBA Program with a concentration in Advanced Applied Finance for the Fall 2012 Term.  As part of our admissions process we would like to meet you through an interview (via Skype video chat). If after the interview you are admitted, and accept the offer, we shall recommend that you receive a Dean’s Scholarship for the Fall Term 2012. Please note that Fordham’s MBA Finance Program was recently ranked 16th nationwide in the most recent U.S. News and World Report ranking of the best Graduate Schools of Business, and we are confident that the program in Advanced Applied Finance will further enhance the Finance Area’s reputation.

好像是一个新开的项目。。不过看着很诱人的说，一直说很适合我很适合我，小蜜真是写PS的高手。。

转MBA比转MSGF好点，当然代价也高。
