It depends on which career path you want to pursue.

HR is a little bit harder for international students to secure a job in US. Of course, marketing is also not easy. However, the position opening for marketing is wider than HR.

I'm not quite sure about which specific field you want to enter marketing or HR. As you know, there are so many different functions and sections in these two fields. I suggest you do your research carefully to figure out what you're really interested in and which particular career path you want to pursue.

You may start your research by reading and taking notes from this Marketing discussion board. After this process you may ask some real questions.

I have already read a lot of the advises in the marketing aboard, including many of your answer to the others. i found that the research and analysis have some special requirement for the students, such as the math. But,unfortunately，i have never learned about these in my college. So, i can only apply for the IMC or others. As far as i know, studying these major are not easy for me to find a job.

Also, i am very confused about these two majors. Because i am a lively person, i want to have a lively job career. I want to play a role that training others, i think i will finish this job better.
