Darden Class 2010 & 2011 taking questions

Guys, just being curious, I got 2 questions.

1) I will ask recommendation from our managing director who actually holds MBA degree from Darden.  Will his recommendation increase my chances of getting admitted?

2) Which round did you guys, as successful applicants apply? Round 1 or 2.  I am probably only able to  ready my package after deadline of round 1...

Only apply when you are ready.

Both of my recommenders have no MBA education backgrounds or big titles. I do believe their comments on me and stories raised to support me in the reference letters make more difference.

hi, I am not quite sure what kind of program you want to know. We are talking about Full time MBA program here. Of course Darden also has EMBA and PHD program which you can find in Darden official webiste.

For the admission rate, I personally dont have the exact figure and I don't think the school will officially annouce that figure too.. I believe the admission rate should be close to the rate from other schools ranked after M7.

我刚开始来的那几天电脑没有中文。。嘿嘿， 现在没问题。不过还是要习惯英文阅读吧。

我的印象里DARDEN对T没有硬性要求，但是你得注意这里是CASE STUDY， 口语的能力是很重要的， 否则你更本上课抢不过美国人。如果教授问一个不是太难的问题，全班95%的人会举手。。。CLASS PARTICIPATION是很重要的，非常重要。所以我觉得如果你至少在其他方面能消除ADCOM的疑虑，貌似问题不太大 - 这段comments纯粹是我个人的理解。

8名大陆同学（现在我们确定的有3名海外持大陆护照同学，还有几张亚洲面孔不祥），GMAT从690-770不等，有4个超过740，有4不到740.年龄从 26 - 31 不等，工作年龄4-6年不等，4女4男。 （不过3个海外中国同学都是女同胞，一个投行，一个四大， 一个金融咨询。）

因为想先把recommendation questions编纂一下，一次性寄给推荐人写。

但是在Darden的admission网上和apply system里都没有找到recommendation questions，admission网页上提到有 recommendation form的下载，却没有link，搜索也没有。

所以，很疑惑，能不能那位赐教，如何才能找到recommendation questions /form的信息呢？
