USC Marshall学校怎么样？

最近USC的ranking下跌很厉害，有什么原因吗？每年大陆过去的人有多少啊？毕业后工作情况如何呢？

哪位USC的校友能发表一些意见啊？

No offence to UCS students. I heard somebody said smart and rich guys go to Stanford; smart but poor guys go to UCLA; not so smart but rich guys go to USC. Don't know whether it is true or not.

I heard about that too. But first, I think this applies to college education and does not necessarily apply to MBA. Second, while "smart" is a complementary word, so is "rich".  

p.s. I am neither rich nor related to USC.

USC最近MS越来越有钱,很多专业排名都见涨,不过Marshall也就那个样子,不好不坏的.每年招的中国人好像不少,就我认识的几个来说工作前景还不错吧,至少能找到工作.不过很多都是在这里读了硕士/博士再读的MBA.

I think USC MBA is not as good as the ranking, but its only my opinion

另外MBA也跟overal ranking無關  USC under裡面是有很多有錢人家  不代表MBA就如此

還有 別用"think xxx"

the problem for USC is the location, I mean, too many people are living in CA. so the admission to USC and recruitment for graduates are both competitive.

USC is renowed for its Accounting. Many first-class MBA programs use the teaching materials written by professors of USC.

As USC alumni, I have to say sth.

first of all, I am not marshall student. I just graduated from engineering school years ago.

Sth I have to clarify:

1. After Dr. Sample became president, USC college changed a lot. It is not a party school anymore. USC SAT score is higher than UCLA now and very very close to Harvard. Based on my experience in USC, that joke is just a joke and just an old joke.

2. USC not recruits in CA. USC has lots of international students. USC ranks No.2 in diversity. (No.1 is NYU)

3.Marshall is not only good in accounting but also in real estate and marketing. USC may not compete with schools at east coast for wall street's jobs, but USC definitely dominates southern california and has great reputation in asia-pacific area.

4.Marshall hired a new dean and career placement officer, who used to be career center officer of U of Chicago.

so if you can not go to top 10, USC maybe a good choice. by the way, USC has top 10 engineering, cinema, urban planning.... programs in America. So overall,USC worths your money and time.
