正确答案是C

一个是不懂block in是指什么，是让物质直接留在叶子里？还是从叶子里去除这个物质？尤其是怎样block in both beans and leaves这个是什么意思？
其次是看了答案以后再读选项仍然不是特别明白这个逻辑，可能还是block in没完全理解的缘故

个人理解是“阻断，不让前行”的意思

此题应该是    阻断咖啡因，咖啡因不能进入到豆中，和/或，叶子 中

不过后来仔细研究了一下，这里是句子没理解对
这里是The synthesis is blocked，阻断物质的合成，就是叶子或者豆子里没有这个物质了

想挖一下这个帖子，借楼问一下D为什么能够explain 题干中的现象？

题目里面已经说了 ‘’For those plants in which synthesis of the substance was blocked only in the leaves, the resulting beans contained no caffeine‘’，在只block了叶子的植物里，豆子不含有咖啡因。D选项不能解释为什么or both的植物的豆子里会有咖啡因啊？

大概就是咖啡因在叶子里合成然后转移到豆子里，只要阻断这个转移过程，就能实现叶子里有豆子里没有的效果，如果要both就不阻断转移就好了
