求助一道语法题！关于as和like

正确答案是A。楼主在A和C中纠结，最终选了C。在网上也没有找到关于这题的讨论，请教各位大神，C选项不如A选项的理由是什么。解释里说C选项的as a teenager出现得很唐突，可楼主还是不太明白。A中的when one is a teenager楼主觉得没有as a teenager简洁啊

like只用来比较noun，所以后面必须跟着一个noun。“trying to learn ... ” 是一个gerund（verb-ing＋phrase)。我觉得C可定是错的。

再加上如果你看meaning的话，应该是比较“trying to learn programming” 和 “trying to tinker with a car”，这里 to+verb 是平行，＂trying" 被省略了。

like后面是不是还可以接名词短语？这里接的是动词短语？

"like"后面跟的都是名词，名词短语必须是noun + modifier，比如说“Like people from the North, ..”，"people" 这里是名词，"from the north" 修饰 "people"。

我建议你看看gerund的解释。没看过gmat答案里让"like" 来比较gerunds，可能其他人见过的可以帮帮。

我觉得碰到这种情况的时候还是小心点，1）看看meaning，觉得C的meaning跟A不同。2）如果A没问题的话，go with it.
