伍斯特理工(WPI) 商学院STEM项目介绍：MS in Operations Analytics and Management (MSOAM)

之前和大家介绍了伍斯特理工商学院下的的MSIT( Information Technology)，MSMG(Management) 和MSMI (Marketing & Innovation) 专业，还有一个和MSIT一样也是STEM的项目大家也可以了解一下——MS in Operations Analytics and Management (MSOAM).

专业概况：
WPI's Master of Science in Operations Analytics and Management Program is designed to equip and prepare managers to exhibit solid leadership and deliver effective operational solutions in ever-changing business environments.
This program balances service and production management—while emphasizing the leadership skills needed to facilitate organizational improvement. Students explore a full range of operational topics, including risk management, lean process design, and global logistics.
The MSOAM is a comprehensive 36-credit-hour program that qualifies as a STEM OPT degree (science, technology, engineering, or math), which allows international students in a technical field to apply for a 17-month extension to their OPT (optional practical training) period. This extension means that students could be eligible for up to two and a half years of work in the United States.

非常感谢楼主！我对这个项目很有兴趣，但学校网页介绍比较少， 想向你多了解一下项目的情况。以下是我的问题：
1.这是一个两年的项目吧？
2.学校帮忙安排实习吗？还是要自己找实习的公司？
3.学校的career service如何？

你好！请参考下面的回复哈~

1.这是一个两年的项目吧？这个项目总共36个学分，一般来说WPI的课程是3学分一门，每学期会选3门课，所以是4个学期（每年的春季和秋季学期），也就是两年上完~
但我也知道有同学为了早毕业会在waive一两门不用上的基础上安排某学期修4门课（不太建议。。真的会好忙。。。），或者夏季学期（每年5-7月）也选一门课

2.学校帮忙安排实习吗？还是要自己找实习的公司？
学校不直接帮忙安排，但是据我了解，这个项目的一些教授都有比较好的contacts，可以做推荐。
另外我们也有和公司合作的projects，也不比做实习差，具体参考这个帖子：http://forum.chasedream.com/thread-1245297-1-2.html  
这个帖子里说的项目中心负责老师就是OAM专业的，所以不少项目都是关于operations/manufacturing的。

3.学校的career service如何？
我们有Career Development Center（CDC），会帮你改简历、cover letter，也会有很多关于怎么interview的讲座。
每年的春季秋季他们都会举办招聘会，每次都有180个公司参加。
CDC还有自己的job finder网站，公司在上面发招聘，在校生可以直接投简历~

请问lz, msoam这个项目的国际学生比率和就业率如何呢？这礼拜收到offer但在case之间纠结

国际生比例这两个学校差不多，就业率帖子里有呀，69%，是我们商学院第二好的了，而且这个数据没水分，是graduate students的就业率。我不知道case就业率怎样，在他们网站好像没查到by专业的数据。
