SC: "Unlike B, A form when rising sea level by melting xxx" other options are
"Unlike B, A form by melting xxx from rising sea level"
"Unlike B, A form from melting xxx by rising sea level"
"Unlike B, the rising sea level...." ( we all know this is incorrect)
I have the feeling this question tests causal links btw rising sea level, melting xxx and A form, and the difference btw by and from. In terms of logic sequence, A form is caused by rising sea level not melting xxx; rising sea level is a result of melting xxx. Terefore the one put rising sea level preceding melting xxx and after A form follows the sequence before. BUT construction with when followed by a ving is still questionable. I know while can be followed by a ving or Ved, but not sure when can do so.
CR: Diamond fish
I feel "the fishes from other lake are more easily caught by fishman than farm bed are" is the correct answer
CR: Drivers respond fast listening to high volumn music. But this does not mean high volumn can lead to a drive safety.
Note: conclusion is about drive safety.
I feel the following one is correct:
"People listening to moderate volumn music tend to drive faster than people listening to low volumn music do".
Though people listening to moderate volumn can react quickly, they drive fast at the same time. We all know factors that determine how safely you drive include both reacting time and speed.
RC: Snake and Gravity
"Which of the following is likely to happen if hold an abxxxxxx(IT IS A GROUND SNAKE NOT A TREE SNAKE, can find this word in the last few sentences of the article) vertically with its head up?" Pls choose "It will cause a strain on the snake's head" one. I was wrong on this one and realized that the moment after clicking "NEXT"..........
