如果老人们原来是靠孩子们补助他们的收入使得他们正好能够过上comfortable living（也即：单纯靠他们自己的收入是没法过上comfortable living的），那么如果他们的收入增加了20%，但孩子们的补助也将相应减少，老人们还是正好能够过上comfortable living，所以他们是no better off financially than before.

这题该是选C吧。

C也不对，因为文中已说通货膨胀不计了，所以价格因素就不应再考虑。记得有道题目说医院排名次的问题，文中提到年龄问题已经在评估时考虑进去了，并作了相应调整，所以有一个选项说得同样得病，老年人在医院的时间比年轻人被排除了。
