The issue is about solving the significant problem in people's life on their own. On the contrary, the statement contends that there is nothing to do with the government. In other words, individuals could only get the help from their families or by themselves. At my point of view, I totally disagree with the contention as the following reasons.

First of all, when it comes to promote one's level of living, we usually consider the well-being of the whole country. Thus, if a person meets some problems that could not (be solven 被解决)solve by their own, the government is responsible for taking them. It is the fundamental duties for the government to deal with problems the citizens meet. Take the steady economic circumstance for example.Merchants or businessmen could only get lots of profit under the appropriate regulation. If there were no rules among the barter, it will be a totally mess. The profit will decrease. Finally, the government should be blamed because it did not take the responsibility. Thus, knowing the duty of government and applying the power of government will help individuals deal with their problems.

Secondly, in recommending the government would be in a better place to deal with the problem, I am in favor of that government holds the effective capability to tackle the predicament.Specifically, there are some difficulties, which(which 指什么) individuals seldom solve by themselves.(这句话结构不清楚) For example, in China people are worrying about the retirement accounts.Only relying on the efforts of individuals could not solve the problem. We barely have the ability to get enough account, which will conquer the expected inflation in the future years. Though a small number of people hold the financing knowledge who could deal with the account, plenty of individuals rely on our government will take the responsibility and take some measures to solve the problem. Therefore, government should do something to improve the situation and help its citizens. (貌似有些啰嗦这段,讲的有些重复)

Last but not least, government is not the only factor in solving the problem. However, it should take a positive attitude toward helping citizens. As citizens, we should try to assiduousness. First, be optimistic about looking for problems, which could be improve improved 被动. Then, do some effort to get to change the situation. If you find out that lacking the ability to solve the problem by the limited number of people, your (符号)families, (逻辑有些混乱~turn for help to the government, which could provide you with a better source and a suitable place to deal with some difficulties.

In sum, not only should people take a positive attitude to discern the potential problem, which is important, but also the government should recognize its responsibility and apply its power to contribute solving the predicament. Finally, the society will be much better than ever before.

The professor in the lecture is talking that some scientists are totally disagree with statement in the reading passage, which contends that the dinosaurs were endotherms. And she gives the following reasons.

First, though in the reading passage the author asserts that dinosaur fossils could be found in polar regions, it do not contribute to sustain the claim because there are other possibilities, such as migration or hibernation. Thus, this location proof has nothing to do with the conclusion.

Secondly, by indicating that dinosaurs are different from crocodiles and many lizards based on the position of the leg, the author thinks that could lead to the desired conclusion. In contrast, the lecturer shows another explanation, which is the use of supporting weight. Specifically, it is obvious that large animals will be benefit from the leg underneath the body.

Last but not least, Haversian canals are the evidence of the reading passage to get the conclusion. In fact, it does no good to connection between endothermy and bone structure. On the contrary, rapid body growth indicates nothing but shows that dinosaurs grow slowly in cold period, resulting in another conclusion that dinosaur is not endothermy since this characteristic manifests. In other words, if the animals grow up in the cold climates, they should be endothermy. Unfortunately, dinosaur do not show that feature at all by using the proof of Haversian canals.

In sum, some scientist are not in favor of the contention in the reading passage and show strong response above that is very convincing.

In the lecture, the professor totallydisagrees with the explanation provided in the reading passage, which appliesthree theories to indicate the possible use of Chaco Canyon. And he givesfollowing reasons.

Firstly, the reading passage contends thatChaco structures were used as apartment. Though the lecturer does acknowledgethat they were residential form the outside, from the inside they were notapartment based on the lacking of fire places. If people live in the ChacoCanyon, they would need to daily cook. Plus, there are only a few fire placesfounded, which might just provide daily use of 10 families.

Secondly, the evidence that grain maize inthe reading passage seems plausible. However, the professor gives morecompelling reasons to rule out the possibility. Since there is no proof ofmaize on the floor and remained containers of maize, the storage of it is notwarranted in the Chaco Canyon.

Last but not least, it contends thesehouses were used as ceremonial centers because the deposits are founded at thisplace, which are discard things of people who lived there before. In fact, there is another explanation that, the professor contends, the remains could beleft by the construction workers. When the houses were being building, theworkers left ate meals and pots there. Plus, it is universally acknowledge thatbuilding composes of sand, stone, and construction materials. That is to say, excavation of mound that formed by a pile of old material could prove nothing.

In sum, the suggestions in the readingpassage are full of flaws, leading to a unstable conclusion.

The professor in the lecture totallydisagrees with the disadvantages of communal online encyclopedias that indicatein the reading passage. And she gives her response as follows.
Firstly, though the author in the readingpassage contends that the lacking of academic credentials of communal onlineencyclopedia, the lecturer refutes that there would be no book in the worldwhich is solid enough that has no error. On the contrary, compared totraditional one, online encyclopedia is much easier to be correct if there isany fault.
Secondly, according to the text, hackersmight threaten of the credibility of encyclopedias. However, some steps arebeing taken to avoid this possibility, the professor claims. One strategy isthat using the special format, which cannot be edited but be read. This methodpromotes the reliability. Another way to keep the information is that someonewill take charge of the position that needs to supervise the editing processand emits the unqualified change.
Last but not least, the lecturer points outthat the more information included in the online encyclopedia because there isso much space could be used on the Internet. In contrast, the traditional onejust has limited information, which reflects the preference of the editor, trapping the diversities of information. Thus, the online one provides a largeamount of information without the discrimination contributes to readers whohold the different inclinations. This is really a huge advantage, the professorclarifies.
In sum, even though communal onlineencyclopedias are not the perfect one, their merits outrun the disadvantages.
