Nowadays,people live in a busy life, have pressures from work, study or family, then sometimesmay became careless about what happens around, such as Disturbing others withoutan excuse, or talking to others in a bad tone. Somebody even thinks that being politeis unnecessary. However, I believe politeness will be necessary for all people,especially, when it is busy and crowded. Because if there is no politenessamong people, the society will be disorder and our life will be terrible.

Firstly,students should be polite to their teachers. If there is no politeness between studentand teacher, the study atmosphere will no longer be pleasant and harmonious, eventhough, the study will not go on. When students are not polite, teachers willfeel that they are not respected by their students, which leads to teachers'bad mood. And then, the class will become less pleasant, the communicationbetween students and teachers will become deficient, and the relationshipbetween students and teachers will break up. So being polite is of greatsignificant in school. I always think it a good routine in China, in which studentswill all stand up and say "Good morning" or "Goodafternoon" to their teachers, at the beginning of every class. Then theteacher will also greet to everyone in the classroom. After the polite greet,the class will begin in order, and that also draw students attention to their teacher.Therefore, politeness is necessary between students and teachers.

Secondly,children should be polite to their parents. Because parents give children somuch love, being polite to parents is the necessary thing a child should do.Sometimes, parents have great pressure from work, and feel tired after work fordaytime, if the child is not polite they will be hurt. For example, my littlebrother, he is very polite to his parents. Every day, when his parents backhome from work, he says good evening to them and takes a glass of water for them.He never speaks rudely to his parents, even if they have different ideas. Atdinner time, he wait for his parents to eat first, then the will eat, andbefore sleeping he say "good night" to them. So, there are seldomquarrels or complains in my little brother's family, he and his parents alwayshave happy time.

All in all,being polite is necessary in modern society, not only between students andteachers, children and parents, even if between strangers. If there are morepeople being polite, our life will become more harmonious and pleasant.

Do you agree or disagree with the followingstatement? Since the world has changed so much in the past fifty years, adviceour grandparents can give us is not useful.

Both we and our grandparents are surprisedthat the world has changed so much in the past fifty years, especially the waywe think and the way we live. Therefore someone asserts that it is not usefulto follow our grandparents' advice. However, I think our grandparents' adviceis still useful, even though we have differences.

I have to admit that we and ourgrandparents really have differences in many aspects. After all, theenvironment in which we grown up are different. They are more conventional, butwe are more curious about new things, they are not good at some electronicproducts which we prefer, they may have less scientific knowledge than us.However, they experienced much more than us, and they have virtues that we maydon't have, so their advice is also valuable for us.

At first, our grandparents have experiencedwhat we don't experience and will experience. They grew up from a child to anadolescent and then an adult and up to now. They know how to choice a job, howto deal with the relationship of colleagues, how to face marriage, how tosupport a family, and even how to bring up children. When we face theseimportant things in our life, our grandparents' advice can help us do lesswrong choice. Especially, the time we have difficulties and at a loss, they canuse their experiences to help us analyze the conditions and make reasonablechoice. So advice our grandparents give us is useful.

Besides, our grandparents have manyvirtues, and their advice will give use positive influence. Our grandparentslive in a difficulty time when they are young, they overcame poverty, wars, andstarvation depended on their braveness, frugality, industry and persistence.Their advice will reflect their precious virtues, which will benefit us a lotas we grow up. Moreover, these virtues they possess are precisely what mygeneration need. For this reason, our grandparents are our models and theiradvice is active direction.

All in all, even though our grandparentshave different values and there is even gap between two generations, however,their advice, which reflects their virtues and experiences, is still useful andbeneficial to us.
