Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should choose the same career as their parents. Use specific examples to support your answer.

Have you ever found that some young adults argue with his parents about his career? Have you ever found that most of us want to do just what we like? Or have you ever unwittingly found that some children hate jobs of their parents?
In my philosophy, I would without hesitation to disagree with the point that children should take the same job as their parents.

To begin with, some people, after graduating, always tend to find jobs what they interested in. There is no doubt to say that interest plays an important role in determining jobs. Take Li Cheng, my best friend since I was 7 years old, for an example, he now works as a doctor, the same career as his parents. But he does not like this job, he always complained with me about what happened in the hospital. Rich as he is, he never feels very happy. Therefore, I think interest is more important than the decision of their parents.

Secondly, people’s careers are closely related to what they learned at the university. We spend so much time at major. We would waste a lot of time if we choose the career that has no related to what we learned. According a survey on the internet, nearly 80% people are inclined to jobs what they learned previously. Consequently, it is unwise to make children to follow their parents’ career.

What is more, children should find jobs that suit them. Different people have divergent backgrounds and different charactics even though parents and their children. So, everyone should take a proper job according to his or her own charactics.

By and large, as the reasons listed above, children should consider divergent things, such as their interesting, charactics and so on, on deciding their own careers.

As the old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed. Have you ever without hesitation to help your friend when he or she in a dilemma? Have you ever found that helping friends may enhance relationships between you and your friends? If so, I, in my mind, prefer to your friend to ask you for help.

To begin with, helping our friend enable us have a better standing on what we learned well. By repeating some knowledge we learned at class, we can find what we previously did not know. Take Wang Yang, my senior high school student, for example, he is good at math. I always have no idea how to deal with some math problems. So I am inclined to turn to him for help. He told me that after answering the question I asked, he had a better standing about math. Therefore, I prefer to our friend to ask we for help.

What is more, the reason why I am inclined to our friend asking we for help is that it can enhance our relationships when we working together. We worked together, shared each other’s opinion, and had fun all the time. There is no doubt that our relations will improve a lot. It pays to help our friends with some problems. So, I think helping our friends can make me better.

Admittedly, it may be true that helping for a tutor makes sense, in some conditions. However, this alone does not constitute a sufficient support to claim that it is a better for your friend ask you for help. Take me for example, one day, I had some questions to ask for help. I found all the places that I could find, however, I could not find him. So, I turned to my friend for help. Consequently, asking for friends for help is a better method.

By and large, when taking into account all these merits, I am comfortable to say that it is better for your friend to ask you for help.

Then the professor goes on to maintain that with the number of whale hunting by human increased, orcas are inclined to have some small mammals. According to the reading passage, however, the number of some other mammals, except otter, also declined. Therefore, the lecture goes against/ strengthens what is presented in the reading passage.

Finally, the professor states that the uneven pattern of otter decline is explained by the orca predation theory. This point of view also casts doubt on/ is consistent with the contents of the reading passage, which considers that ocean currents or other environmental factors may cause uneven concentrations of pollution.
