CDer 們會怎樣選呢？理論上是UT好些，但the high scholarship makes it all difficult to choose. 去了BU的open house, 感覺不錯，admission 的每一個人但很熱心的和學生熟絡，但program的強項似乎偏重healthcare and IT,而樓主打算朝快消brand management 發展。下禮拜要飛去UT參加preview weekend, 回來後再和大家分享心得。如果此次德州行也是滿意，光憑畢業後發展機會，獎學金的考量，投資報酬率和機會成本... 同學們會怎麼選呢？真心感謝！

BU真大方啊！！幸福的烦恼。。。
不过Austin最强的是会计吧。不知道快消出路如何。

读个排名低的，浪费时间浪费钱，将来找工作也相对难很多

I believe UT should have a deeper recruiting relationship with the Marketing corps compared to BU. If I didn't get scholarship from any of them, I think I'd choose UT no question. The high scholarship from BU makes me struggle between cost and school ranking. Is ranking 34 BU considered "low ranking"? I am trying to get advice on how much difference ranking makes for schools outside of top 15.

To linmeimei: I got admitted from R1 wait list so it's been 4 months for me!

Think about the potenial that the school brings you.  BU也许今天给你几万块大洋吸引你去读它的program,但是long term来讲UT给你带来的将远远超过BU今天给你的这几个钱...都说top10或top15学校差别不大，但是15名以后的学校档次拉得还是很开的，这样来讲30几名的BU和UT一比就是一天一地了。如果你比较看重short term benefit那就选BU,没financial负担的两年应该过得很舒坦

Thanks uniforn0130. Finance is not going to be a live or kill problem for me. After all, the moment we signed up for the MBA journey, we expected this kind of cost. Should look farther so I agree with you! I will be attending UT's preview weekend next week. Looking forward to sharing the experience with everybody.
