碰到奇怪的事, 我已经面过CBS了,正在等待结果中. 突然刚才11点15分的时候有个显示北京区号的号码打来, 我就没在意, 接起来是个外国女人, 她读我名字没说清楚, 我还以为她打错了...后来她说是CBS的, 正要跟admission committee present我的application, 说要跟我check一些情况. 然后basically就是问了我why columbia...那么晚, 我也没准备, 随口说了些. 然后她就说ok了.

天哪, 这什么状况啊? 没听说过这样的啊。

我在九个人中选了一个背景比较atypical哥大，在做个创业型的公司，感觉应该比较fun，nice的校友，在美国长大的华人。面试过程都很顺利，他的确非常nice，全程英文，问题：

1. Briefly go through the resume
2. Why mba (I covered short and long term career goal here)
3. Why Columbia
4. Do you want to stay in US after mba
5. Leadership experience
6. Questions to him

Total about 45mins.

确定是北京号, 但她显然是在美国,不知道我这儿11点多了, 我怀疑是不是什么IP电话之类...

Hey Megy,

I had the same experience, the only difference was that they scheduled a call with me first.

My interview went complete on 11/5 and it went pretty well. On 11/13, one of the officers asked to schedule a call with me, he did not explain the reason. Later 11/15, he called me and said he was going to present my application and hoped to know more about me...however, he only asked very basic quesitons, like you said, what's ur long term goal and why CBS.

I was worried about his presentation and still waiting for the final boarding call. It should be done before the Thanks Giving Day, their office is off from this Wed to Sun.

Did u hear anything back? would u pls let me know ur status? would you like to share more detail with me?

Hi yrcm,

Glad to share with you the details. Very similar to you - want to check something with me before presenting my application but without scheduling. The question is only about why CBS? any homework you've done with CBS. and she also gave me the chance to ask her one question. It's about 15 mins in total I think.

Nothing back yet. but I do hear from someone saying that he's also got the call before final admission.

Anyway, wish both of us good luck
