Hi, all prospective student!

So happy to come back CD, and contribute to this great site.

As the title states, We are Penn State! -2010. We are here to help you out of the application mist. Please visit our website: http://www.smeal.psu.edu/mba. If the information there is not sufficient to answer your questions, feel free to post here.

Some suggestions before you start your mba journey.

1. Do your homework. Do more. Do it again and again.

2. No one can answer the question "Can I be accepted by your program?" The one, who can answer it, is you! In this world, you know yourself better than anyone else. The journey of MBA starts from exploring yourself.

3. Prepare, prepare, prepare! No more words about that.

4. The last but not the least, enjoy your life and work. MBA is important? Of course. That's why you are here. But it's not everything.  Balance your life and work!

To destined,

Roughly speaking, the profiles of mba2010 are very diverse. Marketing, engineering, logistics, finance, research scientist...Actually, that's the big advantage of B-school.

The placements of mba2008 are quite good. Some of them settled down in US, and some of them came back China. But both groups got good pay. If considering the ROI, PSU is definitely good one. Indeed, we do have pretty good program.

PSU 的IBT 100分是否是hard requirement，如果98分是不是必须重考一下，(我Gmat 760分)

想从accounting转到finance，PSU的金融专业strong不strong？在找工作的时候会不会因为地理位置原因

造成诸多不便，还有一个问题，PSU的scholarship GA 还会和以前那么慷慨吗？（从你的观察来看）

To shmilylt,

If you have time, I suggest that you re-take the test.

Smeal's strong field is SCM. Actually, it all depends on how much efforts you put it in. Of course, school's reputation in some specific area does count.

For scholarship, yes, it's generous. Again, it depends on your whole package.

申请系统什么时候能够就位呢? 我前年曾被录取过, 不过因为种种原因没有去,请问再申请是不是重新提交所有资料?tks

To Vemma,

This year, we have around 10 Chinese students coming in. The minimum year of working experience is around 3 year.
For the GMAT part, you had better to be above 700. But, still, the whole package counts.
