The Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland （美国马里兰大学史密斯商学院）invites candidates interested in pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Systems (MSIS, 管理信息系统硕士，http://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/doit/academics/msis/) in a dynamic environment with outstanding faculty to this online information session.
The MSIS Program, offered through the Decision, Operations, and Information Technology (DO&IT) Department in the Smith School of Business, prepares students to lead in the ongoing technology revolution. The curriculum is taught by DO&IT’s world renown faculty —acknowledged thought leaders in Web 2.0 technologies, electronic markets, database management, project management, transformational and disruptive technologies, etc.
The Smith School’s strengths in both research and practice are reflected in its rankings and other accolades. The Smith School and the DO&IT Department was recently ranked as one of the top ten tech-centric programs in the US by CIO Magazine. U.S. News and World Report ranks the Smith School as having the fifth best program in management information systems. The Wall Street Journal ranks Smith's information technology program #6. In addition, the school’s full-time, part-time and executive MBA programs are all ranked among the nation’s best.
Just as important, it all takes place in one of the strongest IT regions in the world at the University of Maryland’s College Park campus which is only several miles away from Washington, D.C.
