对于考点不再赘述，不过有一点：赶时间的同志可以看到E选项那么难看就直接排除它。不过如果非常熟悉平行、主谓一致、指代一致的童鞋完全可以对本题秒杀。

E选项里除了定从的was与works主谓不一致，还有that of other poets的that指代单复数不一致；in exploring前面用了the era使得in exploring更有修饰era的倾向（因为the era是特指，而前文并没有提到这个era，所以就只能通过后文的限定性修饰来特指这个era）。

其实D和E选项的逻辑含义是不合理的，大家可以试着翻译一下。
