B的表达重点与E不同，但是，在知道正确选项之前我们不知道句子更要怎么表达它的意思，所以，我认为如果你把B理解成名词概括型同位从句，是可以的；

问题出在when上，when在B中引导一个非限定，使句子的意思不合乎常理了，我们不能说,

...point，when combined with talent，使得...

B错在了这里；

B: when combined状语从句应该在that以内，否则没有修饰对象
C: combined用被动，it没有指代对象
D: and后面句子不完整
E: correct

注意：
1、    同位语从句如果想表达复杂的意思，用并列句更完整一些
2、    Combine等一些动词更适合用被动表达

                 C 中的it 有指代歧义，而且相比其他选项，这个选项中的it比较碍眼，一看就知道不是正确选项
                 D中的and this vantage point 缺谓语，而且 which 引导的定语从句中的 to make 同A中的 to make 表示将来 也是不对的
