I looked over 238 math JJ before taking the test but there were only 2 and they are different versions. So unless JJ is complete, I don't think you should spend a lot of time on it.
Math,
1) 3x-2y=5, 9x^2 - 12y + 4x^2+ 2xy =? (this is not the exact, but the structure is similar).
2) 1/ [square root (29) - square root (20)] - NOT asking for approximation. Choices include-- 1/9, 3 / square root of something - square root of something
just remembered one more
3) Person A can do a job in 14 hours, person A and person B can finish the job in 10 hours. How long will it take person B to finish the job alone.
Verbal,
RC, 1) Early trade history of native american with European. Basically, archeologists were having a hard time deciding the earliest time the trade between the 2 groups happen. Archeologists found metal bolts and metal pins from a dig site. Then some guy's writing says early fishing crews were trading ship parts with native indian for fur. Later, native indian become more selective of what they trade, they only trade knife, metals and other metal stuffs. (Fun fact: do you know Native Americans are more closely related to Han Chinese than any other racial group?).
2) How water originated on planet earth. Passage starts with saying that 70% of the planet is water but its not conclusive where its originate. Some says that its the bombardment of icy clumps billions of years ago. Then it goes extensively about where these comet/ rocks come from. One says its from the orbit of Mars and Jupiter. 20% of mars orbit belts has water. Then it is said the rocks are more likely to be from the Jupiter belt. Finally there are some meteorites that seems to have bombarded earth long time ago has a unique element called deterium? But then the current water in all oceans does not seem to have this element.
3) How museum should preserve the artifacts they have. Climate controlled room and stuff. Its pretty easy.
The writing test: "Nova High School adopted a computer interactive instruction curriculum then the school drop out rate declines immediately, students who graduated last year and joining the college as freshmen have amazing achievement. So the author propose more funds need to be spent to buy more computers and all the schools should adopt this system." |
