然后有个什么加拿大income ceiling的东西 第一段说economic gains from the top of income level 然后提出income ceiling的proposal 接下来说有人反对这个income ceiling 给了两三个原因吧 最后一个原因是the complexity of income structure of high-income owners 作者反驳这个point说 the complex income structure is not popular with shareholders, who vote to pass the income structure plan 之类的。有一题在问提到shareholder的用意 应该是选有关反驳反对者意见之类的


还有个阅读是讲一个nurse组织一个实验的调查了12,000 women about their postmenopausal 服药对她们heart attack rate and dying from accident rate有见效的作用 然后剩下的两端都在用一个叫什么people bias的理论反驳前面之前的实验结果。这个bias主要是在说规律服药的人对健康比较重视 所以即使所服的药有side effect that may增大heart attack的几率 她们这种更好的生活习惯也会使她们本身患病或意外死亡的几率变低。


最后一个阅读脑子已经不转了。。是说Du Bois在研究racial issue的事情。第一大段是说他的第一本书主张一个理论是要把种族和社会放在一起研究之类的 要完全的unbias 第二段短一点，说他之后发现empirical data不够还是怎样 然后就转了理论说种族还是会被先天歧视之类之类的。最后引用了第二本书里的一句话来证明他的观点的改变。有问关于这句话作用的题。




数学 题太多 失忆中。。有考到风筝尾巴 证两线平行 路上刷油漆5280什么什么的
还有present value of two investment $x1, y1年 $x2, y2年    p=x/1.1^y 求the difference between the present value of two investment. （1）x1-x2  （2）y1-y2 好像是这样 然后选E两个都不行


有个比大小 好像是x y都大于0 问x^5<y^3  (1) x^4<y^3 (2)x^3<y^4 条件记不太清大概是这样 我选E 不太会。。


数学真心是考的时候和考完什么都不记得。。

哦 又想起来一个数学
一堆人去吃饭 each one paid either $10 or $15, total payment $100 问多少个人给了$10(or $15 记不得了 也就一个意思)
（1）more than half of the people paid $15
(2) 给$10的是odd number还是什么 记不得了
