ACCA is quite good. It covers a lot of things. CFA is a bit more specialiesed in Finance and investment. Ask you yourself the question first, ultimately, do you want to become a CFO or CIO (Chief Investment Officer). If you fancy CFO, then ACCA is definitely the best, if CIO, then CFA. I finished ACCA and CFA Level one. I found ACCA is much more interesting than CFA I. However, I don't know CFA II and III yet. The best advantage of ACCA is that it has lots of case studies in the real exams which will force you to identify the problems, apply the therios into practise, resolve the problem and provide solution in the limited exam time. In the three hours exams, you usually have to finish one big case study and other three medium size case studies. This is much better than many MBA couses which only give students a brain storming but not a complusory writing test as ACCA does. If you can work in a big international company, doing the relevant finance and accounting work, and do ACCA in the mean time, I am sure the quality of the ACCA will maximinse your talent and give a a big push of your career. Having said that, this way of training, ACCA + working, will be much better than doing a MBA in the post 40 American Business schools and post 10 British Business schools. After I got my ACCA, I trust it. Hope it is helpful to you. Good luck with your study and career.
