jadelo, if you can not add something new (such as publicatioins, better G/T scores, better Recommendations, teaching experience etc.), your probability of being admitted for re-application may not have been increased.
Do not know whether you mind doing your PhD in a nontop school. It is actually kinda of easy to get in a school like this, even in finance and accounting area. Recommend University of Texas at Dallas, and University of Texas at Arlington. You only need to have a GMAT score of 650 to get in. Of course, the scholarship is not very generous, about $13,000/year, you have to pay in-state tuition, about $2,800/semester. But you can always transfer to a better school if later you get in one. Some top schools actually like people who are already in a PhD Program and have some work done, so the training you need is minimium, and you can start to perform pretty quickly. Not a so bad option if you really do not have other better options right now. Their deadline is early April, so you still have time. The living expenses are low in Texas. There could be some other schools like these two, but I am not familiar with that many. Good Luck!
