我觉得：这里的cathed是要用过去时态，因为说的是remember什么时候做了cathed这个动作。这个动作是过去发生的事情。

这里解题的关键是tend是和remember并列（要用tend)，还是和can并列(要用tends)。tend是主语发出的一个趋势性的动作，不是主语的一个能力，所以can tend是不符合逻辑的，那么就要用tends啦。

但是我查了字典,bother to do sth 呀,如果是加ing的话，bother 就是做名词用。如: He did not have much bother finding a new apartment.
