1.while的用法不对——应改为ang

2.cause the pollution 不如polluting简洁

3.ving表示伴随功能结果，本题强调因为漏了油，伴随结果污染；而不是因为航行而伴随结果漏油

我认为A中while的用法错误，因为while 引导的时间状语从句中的谓语动词必须是延续性的动词，而“cause”是个短暂性动词，因此可以排除A.当然还有他因楼上的几位说的也有道理
