我选D的原因是，他们发现了CONVERSATIONAL PACE OF EVERYDAY LIFE MAY BE SO BRICK, 然后会导致2个伤害，一个是HAMPERS后面的，第2个是由于其导致的伤害造成了results in not making sense of speech, 简单来说，我觉得2个伤害不应该是平行的，而是递进的。

D：results是与hampers平行的
从句子意思理解上来说应该选B

如果选D的话，按着平行结构来的话，就变成了conversational pace of
everyday life may be so brisk that it results in not making sense of speech.这句话明显是nonsense了。。。

谢谢，我发现SC里面几乎都是考同位语平行结构，我想的那个老外没那么复杂的脑子，以后我碰到这样的题目直接选平行结构就OK, 谢谢大家的回复。

1 C项中they的指代不明？不是只能指代sounds and words么？疑惑ing。。。
2 A项中and，the result， is，引入了新的从句，虽然没有平行结构好，但是这个也可以，对吗？
