We honorour obligation to each other and to the world in which we live.这段话是不是只是说Smeal 的 Value, 并不是说Smeal 对PrincipledLeadership的理解，然后这段话的意思是你就像Smeal对自己的value有很多的理解一样，说一说你对principled leadership的理解吧。
Some alumni want to share their opinion of the program and their experience here in State College (Happy Valley of Pennsylvania). And I'm very honored and pleased to post their words on behalf of them here. Hope this will give you more insights.
It’s located at a college town, just like many other prestigious universities in the States, to provide a good /quiet learning environment for the students. Also it’s convenient to go to big cities like NYC, DC, Philly.
It’s true we are strong in SchM, but we are also very good in Marketing (especially B2B marketing), Finance, and etc.
The small-class environment is a big plus too – we really get to know the professors / students. It is true that our program is in a small town, which is being called Happy Valley in central Pennsylvania. Totally agree that location matters. But location is only one factor. What more important is to find what school really is a best match for you and how much efforts you would like to put into your MBA.
Our MBA program is strong on other concentrations such as corporate finance and marketing. We see many classmates with successfully post-MBA career in finance or marketing.
Many students are not only getting a scholarship but also the work experience. With the graduate assistantship, students get the opportunities to work on campus as teaching assistant and research assistant, which can be put into your resume as part time work experience in the USA. You can utilize such opportunity to do projects and build up your resume, especially for international students who have not worked here before.
PSU is very strong university and enjoys great recognition around the country for its overall reputation. Although we are in a small town, we are not a regional school. The PSU alum network is extended beyond MBA students. Therefore, students taking advantages of the huge network benefit from it impressively.
I've heard that some students have difficulties in understanding the expectation of essay II. I've talked to the Admission Committee and would like to post their response here. Hope this helps! (Please pay special attention to point 3, very important.)
- Addressing it to either a real or fictitious person is great. Make up a name if need be. Or "recruiter" works - though maybe better to give the person a name since this is a what-if scenario. - Something we'd strongly advise - consider what this essay is intended to do. It is intended to show your professional writing skills as well as your ability to market yourself to a potential employer. We'll see how strongly you want that dream job, and how focused you are or achieving it, and how well you can set yourself apart from other applicants. - There are many thank-you note formats out there. One can Google and find myriad templates. If you are following a template, be sure to move away from it enough to include your own experience, words, sentiment, and voice. A big mistake is sticking so close to the template that it sounds like every other applicant's letter. Or worse, it sounds exactly like the original template - showing that the applicant has not applied significant effort nor thought to the letter.

这个问题今年好多campus visit的人都在问，美国人也很迷惑。我来试试看用三个例子诠释一下Smeal的“Individuals with character and integrity”好了。
第一个例子，我们入学orientation期间就要签honor code，每一份考试，测验，作业上都要签一次academic integrity code，证明自己没有作弊或者协助作弊。学校厕所的门上都贴着关于honor and integrity的海报。告诫大家要尊重自己的名誉也要hold each other accountable。
