先申请master,结束后在phd,靠谱不...?

各位NN,我准备申HRIR的master,但是GPA惨剧80多丁点儿(其他背景还行),大牛校不太指望了,但是HR项目就那几个,从上到下数几个申就是了,所以只要申上了,相信差也差不到哪去

由于爸妈是老师 严厉要求我一次性结束所有degree 我也不太抗拒这个建议 所以如果不出意外的话 master结束后 准备继续phd 以后当个老师

这里想问一下,问题有点多呃,希望对这方面有了解的牛牛们帮我解答一下....

1.如果在北美master的话,phd是否会好申很多?

2.是否主要是看GPA和paper了?

3.家里经济不宽裕,master能撑下来,phd如果不给offer肯定撑不下来了,我如果能全力撑高master的GPA,拿奖机会大么?

4.也算挺重要的一个问题,master的学分是否有机会获得phd学校的承认(比如,如果我要从50~100的普通学校去牛校的话),从而减少一个学期或者再多点儿的学习,早一点毕业,毕竟master+phd合在一起要7年,华丽丽的7年啊,我出来都快30了,同学估计都娶俩老婆生仨孩子了....

要是这条路实在太难,我只好去Pacific Western U直接念EE的phd了  T-T

3. Focus on help prestigous prof do research job and get strong RL, High GPA is only a must.
4. Don't know. But what I believe is most of the business phd doesn't deduct the credit from master.

thx a lot, btw, I've heared abt that the decision of giving an RL or not will mostly depend on one's GPA, so I may failed to get one in the 1st yr with such a low GPA. However, can I apply for an RL in the 2nd yr with a high GPA in the 1st year?
