我选C，过程不一定对。

我是这样想的：

appliances是复数，不能搭配a miracle

所以就只剩CD了

比较even if 和although

从语境看出明显是1个未发生的假设，所以从逻辑意思上来说用even if 不用although

习惯：

1. can afford 是习语 can 既可以表可能性又可以表能力，be able to 只能表能力
