I do not think information system has a promising future...If you want to come to the States for a master degree in information system, and you want to find a job in U.S., you have to consider:

1) Location

2) University's Ranking... I mean those good schools spent millions of dollars in networking. You will have more opportunities..

Last, I would say it is not that easy to find a job...Information/System
