以下是引用williamweizh在2006-7-25 21:38:00的发言:I heard the duration of exchange program is around 3 months from Sep to Dec, which is also the scheduled recruitment time of CEIBS. How can we balance the two choices between going abroad or running for job in China? Good question I got the same concern as you guys. I also hesitated a lot when I was trying to make decision. But, there must be trade-off, as the Chinese saying goes, you can't eat your cake and have it. Before 2005 intake, the students went for exchange in Spring, so there is no conflict at all. The new schedule took effect from MBA2005. So nobody knows how those going for exchange will do in job-hunting. But I still decided to go for exchange, because personally I regard it as a once-in-a-life experience. Yes, for sure, I wil go abroad later on. But it's for either biz trip or traveling, not for study, which makes the real difference...As for job, well, I'm worried, to be frank. But I believe I can get one. Moreover, The CDC (Career Development Center) is also making effors to ease the situation, such as organizing extra job fairs after we come back from exchange, posting job ads on intranet...They will try everything they can to help us. And we ourselves need work harder, too, For instance, In GCP or Internship project, try to make a hit, you'll probably get an offer from it; Well prepare yourself, make sure you can seize the chance when it comes; Make full use of your personal network and actively use the alumni network of CEIBS... But again, there will be risk, and it's up to you... Luoluo suosuo so much, hope I answered your question |
