Benefits

1)  To get along with foreign people in China is very different from that in foreign countries. It's gonna be a very good experience to have international exposure and enlarge your horizon.

2)  You can listen to famous professors in other top B-schools. After all, 3 months is not short, you can learn a lot if you will. 3 months can also help you understand what US top business schools are like. You could also do a SWOT analysis for CEIBS when you come back, which, I'm sure,  will be very useful for CEIBS's further development.

3)  You can meet elites from other countries. Some of them may be your friend of life, some of them may be your good business partners in future

4)  You can have fun there    Visit your friends in UCLA, in Duke, in NYU...It will be unforgettable for CEIBS people to gather in U.S., you will probably get drunk then, hehe

Criteria:

1) Your academic results for the first term

2) Your contribution to the school.

3) Interview

There will be an interview session to decide on the final list if the number of appicants is more than the slots available. You have to justify your decision.

Budget

It really depends...

And the required minimum deposit also varies...For instance, minimum deposit for UCLA is RMB52,000, for Duke, it's RMB100,000.  Some people spent around 50,000 for their exchange, some spent RMB100,000...So it really depends...

Hope it helps..

Your background looks good. A good mixture of international exposure and domestic business experience. Try to write a reasonable applilcation essay and you should get the offer easily. No comment about the scholarship part...

You are asking CEIBS people to compare the school with others;) Anyway, regardless our proudness of the school, I try my best to offer some unbaised opinions: HKU is good in terms of internatinoal exposure; but a bit far from mainland and therefore smaller network and less exposure here. CK has very limited international exposure, although they claim their prof. are from top international school, but they are all Chinese; besides, CK is somehow too young to get credits among future employers...So compared with the other 2, CEIBS is more balanced between international exposure and local context.

The last question about "Criteria" -- is GMAT Score a must? I just attend the Entrance Exam of CEIBS and didnt take GMAT test because of some reasons...

You're welcome. One of the Criteria is academic result of first term, which means the GPA of term 1. It's nothing to do with GMAT...

After you enter CEIBS, GMAT is nothing...
